Troop 412 November 2007 Camp Out

Troop 412 camped at Camp Wakonda for our November 2007 Camp Out. Camp Wakonda is situated at the edge of Fontenelle Forest in Bellevue Nebraska. This years Novermber camp out was unseasonably warm during the day (high 50s) and cold at night (around 30 degrees). The Screaming Eagles and Control Freaks Patrols welcomed some new Scouts to the camping experience. The Troop had a short hike into Fontenelle Forest to search for the hermit of Fontenelle Forest's (Jim Baldwin's) old homestead. The Troop also worked on several service projects around the camp.
